Alternative M6 and M4 adapters for fitting an aftermarket threaded shift knob to the standard shift rod. Use the M6 variant with an intact original thread; the M4 variant requires drilling and tapping a damaged rod. Confirm secure retention, full gear selection and no reverse-lockout interference before driving.
